Task One
Research website design
What you need to do:
1. Identify online sources of information about website design and function.
2. Read / watch the sources of information and identify the parts that you think are interesting and / or relevant.
3. Create written evidence to summarise your findings.
How you'll be assessed:
Your tutor will read and feedback on your written evidence, with some peer review.
Task Two
Task Three
Plan and build a website for your coursework
What you have to do:
1. Produce evidence of design work – drawings, notes – that explain the design choices you have made.
2. Create the website itself, using Wix.
How you'll be assessed:
You will post your website URL into your written evidence, along with clear evidence of planning and preparation, to be peer reviewed.
Note: it's important that there is evidence of planning as well as production, because both these processes are assessed.
Evaluate the process of making your website
What you have to do:
1. Produce an evaluation that clearly reflects on all aspects of the website production, including initial research, planning, production itself, and feedback from peers and tutors.
How you'll be assessed:
You will upload all your evidence so far, including your evaluation, onto your new coursework website!
You teacher will read through your work and give you feedback.
