Task nine

This Is Where I Upload Evidence Of My Task Nine Work.

animating Evaluation

Describe your animation process (include preparing your character for animation)

I have drawn my character on illustrator and had to convert it to a photoshop file so I can get the layers as we didn't know how to do it for illustrator. Once we got the layers we used after effects to create the animation for our short film.

What is going well about the animation process?

That I've learnt on how to used the puppet pin tool to make my character move more freely instead of being a still image moving.

What are you finding most difficult about the animation process?

On how to fit it in to the clips as it doesn't turn out on how I want it to be.

What would you do differently next time?

I would probably make a new character that would seem all tough so people can visually see that he's a tough, annoying person.

editing Evaluation

Describe your editing process:
I started to edit my process by adding the clips in roughly based on where they would be. Then I started cut out certain parts that are either too long or just no needed. I've cut some clips and moved them to different places to give some camera effect so it makes my short film some technique and interest. I've still got more to do to my editing as I'll be doing it along the way of my animation.

What has gone well about the editing?

A thing that went well was how it all pieced together by the different camera angles giving it the effect of an action short film. It went well because of the cuts to create the effect of switching between people to give it tensions and action.

What are the main difficulties you’ve faced?

The main difficulties I've faced is not having long enough clips so it makes my short film too short and it's harder to edit as there isn't much of a clip to edit.

Looking back, how will you do things differently next time?

I would get a lot more clips and make sure they are long enough so my short film isn't too small.

What did you do? Describe your filming process.

I filmed roughly 12 shots for my short film with some from different angles. Some shots don't have anything in them as that's where a close up or a scene with my cartoon character in it. I took multiple shots so I can have a choice on what clips I find better for my film.

Who helped you? In what ways were they helpful?

I had Adam and Tayler help me out. Adam was my realistic actor for my short film. Tayler just helped check and sort the camera for my filming.

What went well?

That I got different angles on my shots to give it a more of an action short film. Also just my shots went well as it has a variety of different things happening in them.

What were the main challenges?

They was one which was to get the shot as perfect as possible otherwise it wouldn't look good.

Looking back, what would you do differently next time?

To get more shots a time length so my short film can be longer.
